Is the Tasmanian Tiger truly extinct?

Summary:

Some days ago a group of amateur scientists capture a footage of a dog-like creature in the surroundings of Victoria, Australia. The scientific group claims that the creature would be  a specimen of the extincted Tasmanian Tiger. The point of their theory is based on the similarities between the tail of the Tasmanian Tiger and the filmed creature. However all these assumptions, the last know Tasmanian Tiger was thought to had died at Hobart zoo in 1936.

Opinion:

It's really pleasant that a very rare and beautiful creature such as the Tasmanian Tiger also known as the Marsupial Wofl still lives or at least it's supposed to be. I feel pleased because animals should not be extincted by the hand of men, because we are destroying the beauty and singularity of our planet.

3 days ago an awesome videogame was released in Spain, and it's name is: Pokémon: Sun & Moon. My experience as Pokémon trainer starts 14 years ago when I was 3 years old. My parents bought me my first Pokémon game ever: Pokémon Sapphire. Since then I bought every single Pokémon game, with the exceptions of Platinum  and Apha Sapphire & Omega Ruby. Pokémon has been a very influential game in my life, because it was one of my favourite games. 

I'll tell you a little story of mine. I live in Spain, and the way I learnt to  speak spanish was by watching Pokémon. My first words in spanish were: ¡Adelante Pikachu!. That happened when I was 5 years old.

But focusing in Pokemon's new game... IT IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!!! The most mature game of all the saga, with the best graphics and sprite, and over all with a very good in-game story.

I make say for sure that this new Pokémon game will mark a before and an after in compeptitive Pokémon mechanics and in the game history overall.

It's gonna be legen... wait for it... DARY!!!

Have you ever thougnt abou how awesome looks Barney Stinson? With his dinner suit, his behaviour of being the boss wherever he goes, and all this stuff, all the chicks he gets, etc. But quite a long time ago I got stunned when I knew he was homosexual.

In real life, Neil Patrick Harris aka Barney Stinson is homosexual, and for the very first time I heard that, my mind said me: "Dude he's an awesome actor no one can deny it". Think about it are there many actors that are homosexual but then while acting they can assume a role of the king of chicks, that deserves a huge applause and recognition as actor.

A similar cas happens in the American sitcom of Modern Family where there is a  homosexual couple: Mitchell and Cameron. Cameron is the contrary case of Barney Stinson. In real life Cameron is heterosexual.  While you watch Modern Family and someone says: "Did you know that one of those of the homosexual couple is not homosexual in real life?". And automatically you would think of Mitchell, because in the sitcom he seems less extravagant than Cameron, but it's not!! 

Eric Stonestreet aka Cameron Tucker is an incredible actor who make the reverse step that Neil Patrick Harris has taken. After watching an episode of the sitcom, you would never think that he is heterosexual in real life.

An underwater terrorific cave...

Summary:

An underwater photographer, Tom St George, dove into the cenote- a cave filled with water-. This cave has a really bloodcurdling look. This cenote is located near the Mayan city of Tulum, on Mexico's east coast, in particular on Yucatan's peninsula. The mist is hidrogen sulphide, and it is over the point where salt water meets with fresh water. From above the cenote looks very clear with its fresh water but below this clear water this misty "lake" appears. The mist is formed by the descomposition of organic matter in the water, in absence of oxygen.

Opinion:

Wow, that's sooooo creepy. I'd like to dive in those waters it would be sooooo amazing to see this cenote while diving. Hopefully I can visit it when I go to Mexico this December, please God be nice and make me visit it.

Summary:

A business is selling its new product, JetPack Aviation's JB-10, to a very small group of customers. This jetpack is the world's very first commercially available jetpack, just like it was extracted from a James Bond Movie.  The company has set up a funding campaign which has already raised its tenth of its goal. The objective of this campaign is to earn enough money to make real an electric jetpack.


Opinion:

I'm not a fan of the 007 movies but, I like this idea of  inventing a jetpack available, at least for now(I believe), for a small group of customers. I may be useful for some rescuing operations or who knows... Anyway I think that the dream of many kids has become true, but with a very expensive price.

My Pokémon team

Some days ago I played competitive Pokémon for the very first time. After it, I got addicted to Pokémon, so addicted that I started to build teams. I tried to make my teams triumph, but it failed many mnay times. I don't have good teams... But day after day I'm gettin better at it.

Yesterday I created a new team, the main pokémon in the team is Mega-Tyranitar, or also known as crazy rocks Godzilla. And I got to say, HOLY CR*P, it is awesome. It's attacks levels are too high for a single Mega-evolution. Look a it, it's f*cking intimidating. To complement him, I added to my team Pokémon such as Excadrill, Garchomp or Stoutland who will take advantage from M-Tyranitar abilty: Sand Stream.

A microbe steals Black Widow's DNA to attack it's prey

It has been found that exist a virus that attacks a parasitic bacterium which infects insects and spiders. When the scientists studied its genome they founded many chunks of animal DNA, among these chunks was found a gene that produced latrotoxin. Latrotoxin is a protein which is very characteristic from a spider family, the Black widows. This virus uses the protein to punch holes through cell membrane and reach its prey.

Opinion:

While I was reading this article I thought that I would be a huge threat this virus. If it can destroy cell membranes, it can surpass any type of inmunological defenses, and that frightens me and every person that may have read the whole article.

This is an article which I took directly from the Daily Mail website, and it talks about the formation of a protective shield for humankind. The purpouse of this profect is to keep safe humanity from attacks os asteroids, space trash, etc. The satellite will be launched in 2017 and this organisation offers its citizenship to the first 100,000 people who register themselves.

Opinion:

When I read this article about a "space nation", my mind said wow. Think about how awesome would be to say "I belong to a spacial nation". I think that this idea is really interesting, you know, a satellite in the space where humans will defend our planet from asteroids... Sounds like the Death-Star from the episode IV, but helping us, not killing us all.

TED Talks opinion

Last week in my english class we watched a video about what a psycologist consider the motor which make us go forward and reach our goals. For her it's grit. I agree with her, but I think there is something more than grit, there is also greed. 

I consider grit as the main reason of reaching our goals, for me the video in the link below is no more than a long way to say "If you will, you can". But I think that greed is also another reason why we keep struggling to reach our goals. You know, the feeling of getting what you want, to make big efforts to be the best in something, to get an enormous satisfaction from getting your goal achieved and then you want more and more, you'll never get satisfied and ever and ever wanting to be better, and expanding your goals more and more. That's what, in my point of view, define us as humans, the greedy animal who wants more and more and keeps progressing and reaching goals day by day.

After having written more than a 100 words for my composition about my opinion of the video, I think that I've make clear which two reasons make us progress in life.

Email to my teacher about my long-term goals

Dear teacher,

I'm not sure about my goals, I just have time to think about them, you know, my whole life in front of me. Despite of the fact of being young, my short-term goals are like anyone else's in class, finish Batxillerat and start my studies in college.

About my long-term goals... Well I guess that long-term goals now are going to be different, in maybe one, two, three or even twenty years. Now as a teenager I've some goals, then as an adult my goals could be very different, or even the opposite of what I want now.

Anyway, I think that I've written too much for a single 100-words composition, so I'm going to stop writing here.

Last post of my blog(or hope so)

Well, it has been a long year since my 1st of Batxillerat started, and I've made many posts all around this long 8-9( don't know how much were they exactly) but I'm very pleased of seeing that my blog has a usual audience that likes what I write(even though what I write is completely freaky content or random things without sense), and yeah it makes me feel very succesful and that my work has a reward after all, a emotional reward.

And there's much to say after all, this post is just for greeting that my work has been supported around all this time.

Nixxiom, my favourite English-speaker Youtuber, is a very funny WoW-content maker in Youtube's media platform. His content is based in the MMORPG World of Warcraft and all his footages are simply awesome and fun. 

It's content about World of Warcraft is very varied, but always funny and even crazy sometimes.

Anyway, Nixxiom and his mate Moocluck, when they make videos are an explosive couple that will make you laugh always(well only if you understand what's the video going about).

So, if, Nixxiom, you are reading this post, know that I'm a big fan of you and your content in Youtube is awesome.

Bored

Today for me is a boring day. I got head ache and it's difficult for me to write this post, but anyway today is a boring day. I'm trying to finish this goddamn it blog(once for all, or that is what I expect... who knows) anyway, that's why I'm typing now, just for comunicating you how boring is this day for me. 

Imagine a day as another, without any difference, but in this case you have a lot of things to do, but you don't know how to do them all. And there's where the boring factor comes in, you don't know how to develop your posts, and finally you finish posting random and strange things that don't have any type sense( like me :D).

And all that is what I make when I don't have any type of inspiration at the time of posting essays in my blog.

I don't know what to talk about so I'm going to talk about random things

Random, yes this is the word that describes this post. What a curious word. Lets look at the dictionary what it says about this word. According to the dictionary, random is a thing that has came by chance or has been chosen by chance. Damn it, why it is chosen by chance if it's random? Nevermind, I think that would be linguists' logic. Of course that has not logic, linguists have made a degree of philology, who in his sane judgement would do that? I think that is a mistake, it has no logic in doing that. Well worse is the case of the people who decided to make an economics degree in Spain. Oh c'mon, you know we are in crisis or an economic recession, please be clever and don't give banks more reasons to steal our money and sink more the country's economy. Economy... that's a s**t, I have no more words to describe it. Damn it all big businesses rules us, even the government are ruled by them...

Iluminati confirmed? Could be.

Your watch starts now

Overwatch. A new game developed by Blizzard which in less than a week is being one of the most played games.The game consist in two teams of 6 members, who can choose a hero with his unique role, which would battle against each other in order to win the game. 

I've played Overwatch since the free beta version was released and damn, I was hyped to know when this awesome game would be launched to market. And now, when it was launched the 24th of May of 2016, I was feeling that my watch, has started now, and my duty is to make sure that a better world comes for the next generations.

Who knows if the world needs more heroes... 

Which superpower I want?

Imagine that you can have a superpower, which one would you choose? Me, personally I would choose transforming mysekf into animals(all type of animals) or super regeneration like Deadpool, yeah Deadpool's regeneration rocks a lot. 

You wold be asking yourself.... "Why this idiot wants to transform himself into a animal?".
Well let me explain. I would choose this superpower because it is funny to transform yourself into an animal, have you ever thought about it? Transforming yoursef into a cat and go and scratch someone you dislike, or being a bird and spying what the people thinks of you. I really like this kind of superpower.

And talking about of having Deadpool's regeneration would be really awesome, think about it, if you got any ill or damaged cells, it would only take a few seconds to have a new ones, no more cancer for us, and if there is the case of losing an arm or a legg it wouldn't be a problem, in less than a day you have a new one! Amazing, don't you think?

For those reasons I consider that if  I can have a superpower would be on of those two.

Lament for Thorin Oakenshield

This is one of the most emotional songs I've listened about from The Hobbit trylogy. It is not an official soundtrack of the movie, instead of that, it is a fanmade song made by a singer I posted two months ago, the incredible Eurielle. Her voice in this song fits perfectly and the rythm she gives to the song, a very slow rythm for a very sad song.

Everytime I listen to this awesome song it gives my goosebumps, is incredible how I can empathize with the characters whi appear in the video, lamenting Thorin's death, the death of one of the most epic character in all fantasy worlds.

My favourite WoW character

World of Warcraft is a massive game with a lot of characters who have been created and give us quests day after day. Others who represent WoW races and many other those are just minions. In this immensity of characters I'm going to choose three of my favourite characters: Arthas The Lich King, Garrosh Hellscream and Tirion Fordring The Lord of the Argent Crusade. 

Arthas The Lich King

Arthas is the most known character in the whole lore and universe of Warcraft. After proclaiming himself as the Lich King, Lord from the Scourge, he began to be one of the most beloved characters in Warcraft. That's because his very detailed fall into darkness when he tried to defend his kingdom, Lordaeron from the very first Scourge's attacks.

Once prince, death knight, then Lich King, now legend.

Garrosh Hellscream

Garrosh Hellscream, son of Grommash Hellscream. Once the leader of the Mag'har Orcs, champion of the Horde and Warchief of the Horde.  Now is one the most diffucult and memorable raid bosses in the whole game. Garrosh is not a character with a huge change behind it, but is most memorable emotional change was when Thrall said: "You disappoint me Garrosh". Then Garrosh had a change inside of him, that almost led the Horde to his self-destruction. I like Garrosh as a character because his determination in doing what he considers that is right.

Tirion Fordring The Lord of the Argent Crusade
The most powerful Paladin in all World of Warcraft. The only man who faced Arthas the Lich King and defeated him. Tirion with his well-known weapon, Ashbringer, has been an example for the Azeroth leaders in their fight against the Lich King. Showing them that they cannot win the Scourge alone.

Film review: Warcraft the Begging

This time this is not a movie that I'm going to make a review about, it is going to be a trailer. Warcraft: The Begging. A new  movie which is going to be released on the 3rd of June in Spain. For me is the most anticipated movie of 2016. Why? Because I sold my soul to Blizzard(yes I'm one of Blizzard's nerds who still pay 13 euros monthly to play the biggest MMORPG in the entire world). I've seen the trailer many times and I'm not getting tired of it. I can feel the hype running in my veins. I can't wait until it is released, I cannot wait. I need all this epic animation to be watched by my eyes.

One thing that I don't like about people when they talk about the movie is: "This movie is going to be war, war and war during two complete hours..." And my answer to it is: NO. I've read many lore articles about the First War(the main fact which the movie will go around), and obviously there are many battles in the story, but the are many relevant facts, those more important than the battles.

If you disagree with this essay do not trust the words of a veteran WoW player who loves the lore, go and see the movie to prove which of us was wrong.

THE FORCE AWAKENS

 "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force awakens" was the most expected movie from the 2015, and probably, the best movie of 2015. It has generated hype among the S.W. followers since its trailer was released on the 29th of April 2014.

This movie is the continuation of the last trilogy, situating the facts of the movie 30 years after the fall of the Intergalactic Empire.

In this movie, Rey and Finn have to escape from Jakku with an import piece of a map that could help they and the Resistance to find Luke Skywalker, while the  First Order is trying to take this map too.

As a S.W. fan, this movie has been loved by me from the first moment that the intro's music has sounded.

WoW Legion

Legion is the 6th expansion for the MMORPG World of Warcraft also known as WoW. This expansion is comming out this year in September. Legion has generated too much hype that many players who decided to not play WoW anymore, will return this September to fight against Gul'dan and the Burning Legion, to save Azeroth of the demonic hordes that threaten our world. 

The most exciting thing of all that is the inclusion of a new hero class in the game, the Demon Hunter. A class which has been requested for the WoW community since WoW were at his first versions. I'm talking about 10 years ago.
